Who we are
Anvil&Co. (owner: Tyler D.) operates Anvil Safety Training & More and is the data controller for personal data collected on this site.
Data we collect and why
• Name, email, phone and company: to create accounts, run crews, book sessions, send invoices, receipts and certificates (contract). • Login details: to secure your account (contract, security). • Course progress, mission answers and exam scores: to provide training, instructor review and certificates (contract). • Session, bid and project details and uploaded files: to quote and deliver services (contract). • Hazard Helper descriptions: to give safety guidance (contract). • Basic technical data such as IP address, device and an anonymous visit count: for security and fraud prevention (legitimate interests).
Who we share it with
• Service providers that host the site, store data, send email and power Hazard Helper. • PayPal, our payment processor, for payments, invoicing and fraud prevention. • Your employer, if you join their crew (progress, scores and certificates). • Professional advisers (legal, accounting). • Authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
We keep training records and certificates as long as needed to verify them for you and employers, and account and billing data as required by law. Data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by emailing Tyler. We respond within 30 days.
Security and cookies
We use encryption, access controls and private file storage. The site uses only essential browser storage to keep you signed in and save your progress; no advertising cookies.
