1. Use your pass or crew code
- Tap the pass link you were sent — the COMP- code fills in on My Learning.
- Sign in or create an account, then tap Apply.
- Crew code from your employer? Tap Enter Code at the bottom and type it in.
2. Find and start your course
- Tap Courses at the bottom to see every course.
- Open your course, read each lesson and answer the practice questions.
- Your place is saved — come back any time from My Training.
3. Pass the final and get your certificate
- Score 80% or better on the final exam (3 tries, then ask your instructor).
- After Tyler approves, your Anvil certificate opens — print it or show it on your phone.
- Anyone can check it on the Verify a certificate page.
Step by step
1Open the site on your phone
- Go to the-anvil-and-company-training.lovable.app (Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android).
- Optional: tap Share (iPhone) or ⋮ (Android) → “Add to Home Screen” so it opens like an app.
- Tap the language button to switch between English and Spanish.
2Sign in or create an account
- Tap Sign in from the menu. New? Choose Create account and confirm the email we send you.
- Signing in keeps your progress and certificates saved on any phone or computer.
3Use your free pass or crew code
- Free pass link (COMP-…): tap the link you were sent. The code fills in by itself — tap Apply pass.
- Typing a pass by hand: open My Learning and paste it in the Complimentary pass box.
- Crew code from your employer: open Join and enter it in the employer code box. A crew code is not a pass.
4Start your course
- In My Learning, tap Start course (or Continue) next to your course.
- Read each lesson and answer the practice questions. Your place is saved.
5Pass the final and get your certificate
- Score 80% or better on the final exam. After 3 missed tries, ask your instructor to unlock it.
- Your Anvil certificate opens right away — print it or show it on your phone.
Crew card: hands-free reports
“Gentlemen, this is how we stay safe together. Hands dirty, in your gear, or something happens out in the dirt — don't wait until the end of the shift. Say ‘Hey Siri, Anvil hands-free.’”
iPhone (Siri)
- Sign in once in Safari at the link below, so the shortcut opens straight to listening.
- Open the Shortcuts app and tap + (top right).
- In the search bar at the bottom, type “Open URLs” and tap it.
- Tap the blue “URL” word in the action box and paste the link below.
- Tap the name at the very top (with the ⌄ arrow) → Rename → type “Anvil hands-free”.
- Tap Done (top right).
Then say: “Hey Siri, Anvil hands-free.”
Android (Google)
- Open the link below in Chrome and sign in once.
- Tap ⋮ (top right) → Add to Home screen (or Install app).
- Name it “Anvil hands-free” and tap Add.
- Say “Hey Google, open Anvil hands-free.”

What happens next
- Injury or emergency? Call 911 first. The report comes after.
- Say the report type, where you are and what happened. Anvil lists anything missing — it never guesses.
- Anvil reads it back. You pick who gets it each time.
- Nothing sends until you say “send it”. A supervisor should review every report.
Troubleshooting
- First time only: the browser will ask “Allow microphone?” — tap Allow while the Anvil page is open. If you tapped Block: iPhone — Safari, tap “Aa” in the address bar → Website Settings → Microphone → Allow. Android — Chrome, tap the lock icon by the address → Permissions → Microphone → Allow.
- When the shortcut opens, Anvil starts listening by itself. If a “Tap to start listening” screen appears, tap it once — that's your phone's rule, not a problem. Then just talk.
- If Siri or Google opens the wrong page, sign in once at the link below in that same browser, then try the shortcut again.
You must be signed in to the Field App. Siri and Google Assistant are features of your phone; Anvil is not affiliated with Apple or Google.
For instructors & employers: test Text and Share on a phone
Do this once on an iPhone and once on an Android, sending to your own number.
- Leave the phone box empty, tap Text (English): Messages opens with the English message and no recipient.
- Type your number in “Text to phone”, tap Text (Español): your number is filled in and the Spanish message shows accents correctly.
- Tap Share…: the phone's share menu opens (Messages, WhatsApp, etc.).
- On a worker code, tap Text (EN) and Text (ES) and check both messages.
- Open the pass link you received while signed out: the code is filled in. Sign in or create an account — the pass applies and the course opens.
- Open the worker-code link you received: the code is filled in on My Learning and joins the crew.
- Revoke or delete your test pass and test worker code when finished.
